Kasbah Rooftop Bar is a layered hospitality project that transforms an underutilised rooftop into an intimate urban retreat. Positioned above the street, the design creates a distinct sense of arrival and separation from the city below, offering a social space defined by atmosphere, outlook, and material richness. The project balances openness and enclosure through a careful interplay of structure, planting, and lighting. Warm, tactile materials are paired with durable finishes to support high-use operation, while curated lighting and furniture create a relaxed, evening-focused ambience. The spatial arrangement encourages informal gathering, movement, and long dwell times, allowing the venue to shift seamlessly from sunset drinks to late-night activation. Responding to its inner-city context, Kasbah is designed as a destination that feels both elevated and grounded — a rooftop bar that prioritises comfort, identity, and experience. The result is a venue where architecture, landscape, and hospitality work together to create a memorable, distinctly urban social space.
